Gerfriede Frantz, Founder/Area Supervisor
Gerfriede is a German immigrant from the small town of Massbach, Germany. After meeting Bernard Frantz, an American soldier stationed in Germany, the two married and moved back to the States. After years of hard work in manufacturing, Gerfriede and Bernard founded Frantz Building Services. In the early years, Ms. Frantz was responsible for ensuring the operational success of the company and to this day, at 70+ years of age, she continues to work in Operations as an Area Supervisor. Frantz Building Services is indebted to her for its success.
Jordan Tong, President/Owner
Jordan, a 3rd generation owner of the company, spent his childhood and teenage years working in and around the business – cleaning buildings, waxing floors, and pulling weeds. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Tennessee Tech University in 2005 and working briefly as a project manager for Summit Constructors, Jordan joined the team at Frantz Building Services in 2007. As company president, he now oversees all administrative, financial, sales, and operations functions of the company. Jordan is married to his wife Sarah, and they have three children.
Mark Tong, CEO/Owner
Mark, son-in-law of the company founders, spent his early years working for his father’s construction company. Combining this experience with experience at Peter’s Construction, he developed knowledge and skill in all forms of construction (residential & commercial), remodeling, and facilities maintenance. Mark joined the family business in 1992, holding positions as floor technician, area supervisor, and branch manager – acquiring ownership and his position as CEO in 1997.
Kathy Tong, CFO
Kathy, daughter of founders Bernard and Gerfriede Frantz, began working in the company in 1993 as a bookkeeper. As the company has grown, so have the financial responsibilities. Kathy now oversees and directs all financial aspects of the company, from accounts payable and receivable to payroll and cash management.
Brian Lewis, Vice President Operations
A native of Evansville, Brian is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana and occupies a degree in Communications / Public Relations. He has 15 years of experience in the service industry spending time in both sales and operational roles. Brian has a special interest in the operations side of the business and really enjoys identifying and implementing process efficiencies. He believes strongly in establishing and maintaining trusting relationships at every customer location. Brian is a devoted family man and has an extreme passion for music, food, and travel.
Dennis Seitz, District Manager IN/KY/IL Region
A graduate of University of Southern Indiana, Dennis’s career has been focused in the service industry in sales, operations and industrial engineering. Dennis enjoys assisting each client with developing solutions for their facility needs. Dennis believes the most important factor in the client/contractor partnership is integrity on which long-lasting professional relationships are based. Married 19 years, he is the proud father of 2 children. When not working, Dennis enjoys being a dad and husband while trying to work in time for hunting and fishing.
Jodie King, Human Resources Manager
Jodie earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. She possesses a wide variety of HR experience from government, telecommunications, and the service industry. As HR Manager for Frantz, Jodie oversees all HR function within the company, including recruitment, on-boarding, training, safety, benefits, and compensation. Jodie is the proud mother of one daughter who is currently pursuing her doctorate in psychology.
