Safety Talk: Texting and Driving

[distance1] In today’s society, we have become multi-tasking experts. Finding our time increasingly demanded of by innumerable obligations and responsibilities, we have learned to eat our cereal while dressing for work and reply to emails while walking the dog. In theory, this practice may seem an excellent way to get more done faster, but unfortunately, it often leads to spilt milk on the bedspread and a canine escapee. Our attention is divided among many things, leading to more distractions rather than increased productivity. [distance1] One of the chief (and perhaps most dangerous) ways we do this is texting while driving. In fact, it has become such a common occurrence that big name companies like AT&T have launched campaigns to actively raise people’s awareness to the risks. Take a look at the statistics about texting and driving: [distance1] [list-ul type=”circle”][li-row]
